“Was OK. It was a good pace, a good rhythm. It was quite slippery but I am happy with that.”

“Stage was OK. We had hard tyres on the car. I have a tyre strategy for the weekend so I will lose some time today but hopefully I will get it back tomorrow. I have to do better now and try to manage with the hard tyres.”
Car 8, Sordo/Marti
“I was a little bit slower here because was being careful for the tyres. The engine is quite good now but before there was something wrong. Now I drive in the lines and not very fast.”
Car 9, Mikkelsen/ Floene
“It was a very, very fast stage. It was a clean stage for us and I’m happy so far. I’m trying to save the tyres a bit but the next stage will be tough. The road sweeping is bad – it will get faster and faster for the cars behind. There is starting to be some dust.”
Car 12, Al Qassimi/ Patterson
“We hit a couple of rocks in some of the corners. There are a lot of rocks pulled out.”

“We had extra minute gap as caught some dust in previous stage. In that one it was OK – everything is OK”
Car 20, Paddon/Kennard
“Had a really tough tyre choice. The softs worked well on the first one but not so well on the second. They were moving around a lot. The last one is 70% hard, 30% soft – the stages are a little harder than we thought.”
Car 21, Prokop/Tománek
“We had a problem with a bolt on the rear caliper [on previous stage] so we lost all the fluid. We fixed between and now it is working OK. But not easy to get the rhythm. It is working well now.”
Car 40, Ketomaa/Lindstrom
“No dust – everything was OK. A very funny stage – a good stage. The pop-off valve on the engine is opening constantly. On the last stage it was very bad and on this stage, in fourth and fifth gear, there is no power and we are losing time. Hopefully they can fix it in the service.”
Car 41, Fuchs/ Mussano
“Stage is very nice. In the first one, I lost the brakes. On this one, I don't know what happened. I need to cool the brakes a bit for the next stage.”

“The stage was really difficult There were so many rocks in the roads, gravel everywhere and we are finding it hard to get traction.”
