Citroën tested in Algarve

28 março 2013

Citroën Total Abu Dhabi WRT was in Algarve with the Finn Mikko Hirvonen and the Spaniard Dani Sordo to test for the Vodafone Rally de Portugal.
Hirvonen, who is now third on the WRC points chart and who will pair up, once more, with Sordo, was the first of the two to run on the gravel roads of Tavira. The Finn had a rainy and muddy first day, but on the second, with bright sunny skies, he was able to work on a dry surface.
On the other hand, his teammate Dani Sordo was presented with much better weather on Monday and Tuesday. The Spaniard focused his work on the suspension and the differential of the DS3 WRC and was quite optimistic after ending the test.
“We finished the test towards the [Vodafone] Rally de Portugal,” started Sordo on his Facebook. “I am very happy with the preparations made to the car. I liked its performance during these two days of testing. I have good feelings for the Rally, I am sure it will be a good one,” confessed the Citroën driver.
